The process of making bronze sculptures, bronze sculptures has a history of thousands of years. To complete an exquisitely engraved handicraft requires more than a dozen technological processes, coupled with the style creation of skilled workers, to create personalized and modern sculptures with ingenuity. The following editor will introduce you to the production process of cast bronze sculptures.
The bronze sculpture is not a general and simple process, but a sculpture made by professional molds and techniques, etc., which are cast in many ways. It is made of cast bronze sculpture material. The following is a brief summary for everyone After eleven production steps, I will roughly explain the casting process for everyone.
Step 1: Design the sculpture
The first is to design the blueprint for the overall conception of the sculpture and then cast the bronze sculpture according to the pattern.
Step 2: Make clay draft
Then it is to make a rough model of the designed pattern with clay manuscripts, which is convenient for us to finalize the shape. If there is any bad place, we can modify it on the clay sculpture.
The third step: mold remanufacturing
There are two kinds of molds: one is rebuilt with a plaster if it is not too complicated. The other is complex, just use silica gel.
Step 4: Wax filling
Pour the melted paraffin wax into a plaster mold or silicone mold that has been made, and wait for the paraffin wax to cool down and it will become a wax shape. Step 5: Shell making is the same as mold remaking. There are two kinds of shell making: one is small or complicated, we should choose precision casting. The so-called precision production is to use fine quartz sand layer by layer to make a good wax. Wrap it up, and then burn the wax inside the shell at high temperatures. The other is resin sandbox production. Sandbox production is generally suitable for simple, flat relief, large copper coins, the back of copper Buddha statues, and smooth surfaces without much craftsmanship.
Step 6: Casting
The high temperature turns the copper into copper water and pours it into the finished shell or sandbox.
Step 7: Polishing
Clean the riser and polish.
Step 8: Stitching the cast bronze sculpture
Put the polished bronze sculptures together to form a complete whole. After this step is completed, we can basically see the general appearance of our cast bronze sculpture.
Step 9: Clean the weld
Treat the welded parts of our spliced copper sculptures to be exactly the same as our clay drafts.
Step 10: Surface coloring
Our bronze sculptures reflect what period, the ancient ones are generally suitable for bronze, and the modern ones are generally suitable for bronze. There are many modern ones. There are gilded, gilded and painted bronze figure sculptures.
The eleventh step: oiling, sealing wax
Oiling and sealing wax can keep our bronze sculptures up-to-date for a long time.
The twelfth step: artistic production
The production of art determines whether our bronze sculptures are recognized by the audience. Generally, people with professional training or artistic talents are required to produce them.
