The customization process for large outdoor stainless steel sculptures is roughly divided into: design, making models, making internal support structures, cutting, grinding and welding, cutting, grinding and welding, and installation. The following is a detailed introduction.
Demand analysis and communication: Conduct in-depth demand analysis with customers to understand their expectations, themes, budgets, etc.
Design proposal: Based on the needs, the designer makes a preliminary design proposal for the sculpture, including shape, size, details, etc.
Sculpture design drawings: 3D modeling/3D drawings.
Client feedback: Present preliminary designs to clients and collect feedback.
Modify the design: Modify the design based on customer feedback until the customer is satisfied.
Based on the design drawings, a small foam model needs to be produced for reference.
For large sculptures, internal support structures need to be designed and produced to ensure the stability and safety of the sculpture.
Choose stainless steel material: Choose stainless steel material that meets the design requirements, usually 304 or 316 stainless steel.
According to the model or model drawing, the stainless steel plate is cut into the required shape, and then polished and welded.
Sand and polish stainless steel surfaces to obtain a smooth surface. The stainless steel surface is treated by pickling, polishing, etc. to make the surface smooth and bright, improving the texture and visual effect of the sculpture.
Depending on design needs, decorative elements may be added to the surface of the sculpture.
Transporting sculptures: Transport the completed stainless steel sculptures to the installation site.
Install the sculpture: Install the sculpture in an outdoor venue to ensure that the sculpture stands firmly in the designated location.
